New Battlefield 1 Collector’s Edition Features NO GAME?
We can’t lie, this may be the first time we’ve seen a collector’s edition of a video game that is in fact, video gameless (spell check totally says that’s a real word, still not sure). This Amazon exclusive Battlefield 1 Exclusive Collector’s Edition features all sorts of cool stuff, it’s just none of them are the game it’s based on. Included in the package are all the items you would have gotten in the Battlefield 1 Exclusive Collector’s Edition that DOES have the game, except, as we already said… no game. You’ll have to forgive us for focusing on this so much because it’s just so darn odd.
I want that statue and that steel book (with no game inside), oh and that cloth poster. I especially want that messenger tube, you know, the one with the INCLUDED DLC inside of it! As ridiculous as it sounds this is a way for anyone who purchased the game by other means to get all the collector’s edition stuff from the original Amazon exclusive version. While it seems very odd on the surface, we can see where there might be a need for something like this.
What’s your take, readers? Oddest Collector’s Edition ever?
