With Guitar Hero Live out today, people still have a lot of questions about the game. What songs are on disc, what songs are on GHTV and what type of microtransactions will there be? We reviewed the game (check out our official review here) but before making the big purchase you should be aware of a few things. We here at COGconnected have put together a list of things you should know prior to playing Guitar Hero Live.

Let’s dive in!

Guitar Hero Live Hero Things You Need to Know Featured Wide Take 2

1 – Guitar Hero Live Isn’t Your Dad’s Guitar Hero Game

The full band experience is no longer a part of Guitar Hero Live (GH Live). GH Liveʼs primary focus is now on guitar and vocals. The guitar has been re-designed and now consists of six buttons (two rows consisting of three buttons each). The old animated crowds and stage have been replaced with real live action video that consists of real crowds, musicians and stages. Previous games were played from a third person perspective, but GH Live is played from your guitarist’s first person view. The crowd will react to how you play.
