Modify Every Game Level in Ready or Not
VOID Interactive has released a new free update for Ready or Not, introducing the Mission Editor and giving players far more control over how missions play out.
Revealed during the FPS Games Show, the Mission Editor lets players tweak a wide range of gameplay variables across the game’s levels. This includes both base-game missions and DLC stages, although players will need to own the relevant DLC to create and edit scenarios based on its missions.

The feature focuses heavily on customizing NPC behavior. Players can adjust suspects, civilians, and SWAT officers, including their health, appearance, weapons, and AI behavior. SWAT modifiers can change things such as reaction times and how different SWAT actions affect morale, while civilian settings can alter their compliance and archetypes.
Players can also customize their own experience by changing their health and the maximum number of bandages. This makes it possible to create much tougher challenges, such as missions where players have only 50 HP or a single bandage.
Several miscellaneous options are also available, including bomb timer lengths, door traps, character spawns, locked and open door percentages, and the chance of suspects taking their own lives.
The possibilities are pretty extensive. Players can equip suspects with specific weapons, swap appearances between levels, change civilian behavior, or create brutally difficult scenarios. Custom scenarios can also be saved and shared with friends or the wider community through generated codes, regardless of platform.
Overall, the Mission Editor adds a fresh layer of replayability to Ready or Not and should give players plenty of reasons to revisit its missions.
