Feel the Adrenaline in SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed
The wait is finally over for fans of fast-paced indie platformers, as SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed has officially launched today. Publisher tinyBuild and developer Fair Play Labs have released the sequel to the beloved 2010s indie hit on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Game Pass for PC and consoles.
SpeedRunners 2 keeps the original’s parkour-focused racing formula while adding plenty of new ways to compete. Players can race against up to eight competitors online. They can even take part in ranked matches, or jump into couch co-op with friends. The game also introduces 64-player elimination tournaments for those looking for a more intense competitive challenge.
For solo players, SpeedRunners 2 features a full campaign with boss battles and a story that expands on the lore established by the original game. Players will need to master their movement, use power-ups effectively, and stay ahead of their rivals as they race through increasingly challenging courses.
The game is available on Steam for $9.99, with a limited-time 10% launch discount. The console versions cost $14.99 and are currently 20% off for a limited time. Owners of the original SpeedRunners can also receive an additional 10% discount on the same platform.
