tinyBuild Has Revealed Probably Stolen Alongside the Launch of Its First Steam Playtest

Open Your Pawnshop in Probably Stolen

tinyBuild has officially unveiled Probably Stolen, a new cyberpunk-themed shop management simulator from developer Questing Goose Studio. Set in a gritty pixel-art world filled with crime, corruption, and desperate survivors, the game puts players in charge of running a business where the merchandise is anything but legitimate.

Alongside the announcement, the developers have also launched the game’s first Steam playtest, giving players an early chance to experience its dangerous retail underworld.

Probably Stolen

Taking place aboard a dystopian space station divided by wealth and power, Probably Stolen challenges players to build a profitable business while navigating the risks of selling questionable goods. Players can choose to specialize in different trades, including gunsmithing, chemistry, farming, water distribution, or dealing in stolen merchandise. Each business path offers unique opportunities but also comes with its own dangers, from security inspections to illegal raids and costly permits.

Customers are just as unpredictable as the inventory. Some may simply be looking for supplies, while others could be undercover security officers, revolutionaries, or criminals testing your loyalty. Every transaction becomes a decision that could either increase your profits or attract unwanted attention.

Managing risk is a major part of the experience. Players must judge the value and legality of every item, decide whether to alter product quality for extra earnings, and balance growing rent with the constant threat of losing everything after a single mistake. The station also hides rogue AI-enhanced individuals, forcing players to stay alert and even resort to violence when necessary.

Probably Stolen is now available to wishlist, and interested players can also join its ongoing Steam playtest. If you’re looking for a management simulator that blends business strategy with cyberpunk crime and moral choices, this one may be worth keeping an eye on.
