It Is Getting Foggy in Silent Horizon
The world has fallen into chaos; a mysterious Red Fog is swallowing everything in its path, and survival is only getting harder. Indie developer Baby Bison Games has officially announced Silent Horizon, a turn-based RPG that mixes post-apocalyptic survival with dark western themes and weird fiction. The game is heading to PC via Steam and GOG, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch in Q4 2027. Its Steam page is already live for players who want to add it to their wishlists.

In Silent Horizon, the mysterious Red Fog has consumed most of the world. It comes and goes like the tide, bringing terrifying monsters wherever it spreads. Those who enter rarely make it back, and the few who do are never quite the same.
The story takes players to Rusty Eden, a trading town filled with rival factions. When the Fog seals its gates, raiders, cultists, mercenaries, preachers, and couriers are forced to share the same space. With tensions rising and everyone fighting for control, players must find work, choose their allies carefully, and uncover the truth behind the deadly phenomenon.
Choices will play a major role, affecting faction reputations, personal relationships, and how the story unfolds. The Fog itself is more than just a backdrop, as its changing intensity can alter locations, conversations, and events. Combat follows a turn-based system where players fight alongside a companion. However, the Fog can quickly turn an encounter in their favor or against them. Keeping an eye on sanity will also be just as important as protecting health.
With its unsettling atmosphere and unpredictable world, Silent Horizon looks like one to watch for RPG fans who enjoy a darker kind of adventure.
