A New Adventure Is on Its Way to Legends of the Round Table
A giant, a legendary boar, and a series of seemingly impossible challenges await Arthurian knights in For Olwen’s Hand, a new DLC adventure for Legends of the Round Table. Developer Artifice Studio has announced that the expansion will arrive on Steam on December 10, completely free for all owners.
Inspired by Culhwch and Olwen, one of the oldest tales in Welsh Arthurian mythology. And the adventure follows a knight who falls in love with Olwen, daughter of the giant Ysbaddaden. However, winning her hand won’t be easy, as her father demands that her suitor complete a series of seemingly impossible tasks.
Offering approximately five hours of new content, For Olwen’s Hand lets players choose which knight embarks on the journey. They will also decide how to approach each challenge and shape how the story unfolds. Along the way, they will face the mighty Ysbaddaden, the legendary boar Twrch Trwyth, and other mythical threats. The expansion will also introduce new combat mechanics.

Culhwch and Olwen is a take our team truly loved,” said Yan Pepin, Director of Artifice Studio. “Like the base game, this adventure is a labour of love. Our players have supported us every step of the way, and making For Olwen’s Hand free is our way of thanking them in return.”
With five hours of fresh content, new challenges, and a fascinating dive into Welsh mythology, For Olwen’s Hand gives existing players another reason to return to Legends of the Round Table this December.
