New Rewards Also Await in THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK
Netmarble has rolled out a new update for The King of Fighters AFK, bringing more content as the game’s 1st anniversary celebration continues. The latest patch introduces a new version of Iori Yagami, returning with his KOF XIII appearance, alongside several limited-time events and generous rewards for players.
The biggest highlight is the arrival of Iori Yagami (KOF XIII), who joins the roster with [Rush] Synergy. From September 3 to September 16, the Iori Yagami Arrival Event doubles his summon rate. During the same period, the [Rush] Synergy Pick-Up banner also increases the chances of recruiting other fighters with the same synergy.
Terry Bogard also receives a new Keepsake featuring [Deathblow] Synergy. Players who missed adding him to their lineup will get another opportunity through the Terry Bogard Rerun Arrival Event, available until September 16.
Netmarble is also inviting players to participate in its 1st Anniversary Survey, which remains open through September 16. Completing the in-game survey rewards an impressive 1 million Rubies, making it one of the game’s largest giveaway rewards so far.
Several anniversary events are also underway. Fighters Festa lets players earn Legendary Pets Nitro and Hippaka, while Happy Picnic launches on September 10 with Legendary Pets Sin and Bonnet. The Lucky Elpy Event returns with Lawrence Blood, and the new Shaky Shaky Cake mini-game is available through September 11.
With fan-favorite fighters, valuable rewards, and plenty of limited-time activities, the anniversary celebration continues to give both new and returning players plenty of reasons to jump back into the game.
