Secret Sauce Showcase

This year’s showcase promises more than an hour of fresh content, featuring new trailers and gameplay footage for over 70 indie games. Viewers can also expect multiple world premieres, release date announcements, surprise reveals, and the launch of several playable demos. offbrand games will also share updates on its own projects, including Aethermancer, Demon Bluff, and Rivals of Aether II. The livestream will be broadcast by Ludwig Ahgren, offbrand games, IGN, and other partners.

The celebration continues immediately after the showcase with the Convergence Showcase livestream, giving indie gaming fans more than four hours of back-to-back announcements on July 16.

The event extends beyond livestreams as well. From July 17 to 19, attendees in the San Francisco Bay Area can visit the Open Sauce Festival, where they will find a dedicated Secret Sauce indie game zone featuring hands-on demos, developer appearances, and playable titles from the showcase.

Players who cannot attend in person can still join the fun through the Secret Sauce Showcase Steam event, running from July 17 to 23. The event will feature every game shown during the livestream, along with additional indie titles from previous showcases and partner studios.

Last year’s showcase attracted 250,000 unique viewers, generated more than 100,000 new Steam wishlists in a single week, and proved just how much excitement surrounds the indie gaming scene. With even more games and announcements planned, this year’s event is shaping up to be another highlight for indie fans.
