A Huge Step for Lethal Wedding
Mega Cat Studios’ Kickstarter campaign for Lethal Wedding continues to gain momentum as it enters its final 48 hours. The campaign has officially surpassed its $50,000 stretch goal, unlocking a special Fatman and Team Fat Deluxe CD Add-On for eligible backers.
The newly unlocked physical soundtrack will feature the complete original score by Mega Cat Studios composer Karl O’Janpa, along with brand-new music from George “The Fatman” Sanger and Joe McDermott of Team Fat. The duo is well known for composing the memorable soundtrack of the classic Zombies Ate My Neighbors, making this a nostalgic bonus for longtime fans.
As an additional reward, Mega Cat Studios has confirmed that every backer at both digital and physical reward tiers will also receive the Fat Adventures digital coloring book at no extra cost.

With the latest milestone reached, the studio has now turned its attention to the remaining stretch goals. Reaching $60,000 will fund a Nintendo Switch version, while $70,000 will unlock Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S ports. If the campaign reaches $80,000, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions will also become a reality. Mega Cat Studios noted that the team will develop these console editions after completing and fulfilling the Mega Drive/Genesis version.
The developer has also released a new vlog showcasing several gameplay features, including the unique vows system, chaotic couch co-op, and the technical work required to push the Sega Genesis hardware to its limits.
With strong community support and only a short time left in the campaign, it will be interesting to see whether Lethal Wedding can unlock even more platform releases before the fundraiser comes to an end.
