Build an Unbeatable Team in Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime
Developer Bonte Avond, known for cult favorites like Once Upon A Jester and Everybody Wham Wham, has officially announced the release date for its upcoming comedy adventure Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime. The studio is teaming up with publisher offbrand Games to bring the quirky title to Steam and the Nintendo Switch on March 16. The announcement was accompanied by a new release date trailer highlighting the game’s bizarre humor and frog-filled gameplay.

Described as a whimsical comedy adventure, Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime draws inspiration from games such as Thank Goodness You’re Here! and Night in the Woods. The title blends exploration, music, and tactical gameplay in a world that leans heavily into absurd comedy. Players will step into an adventure packed with strange encounters, unusual quests, and plenty of frog-related chaos.
One of the highlights is its voice cast, which includes several popular online creators. The game features performances from Lilypichu, Ironmouse, CDawgVA, and Ludwig Ahgren, along with other familiar personalities from the creator community.
At the heart of the game is Frogtime, a frog-hopping tactical battler where players collect, buy, and trade frogs to build a powerful team. These amphibian companions take part in strategic battles while players explore a colorful world filled with odd activities and unexpected detours.
The story follows Bonnie Bear on a mission to defeat a local bully, but the journey quickly turns into a series of strange side adventures. Players might find themselves performing music, sneaking into a beehive while disguised as a bee, or even competing in a sled race against a vampire.
Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime launches March 16 for PC and Nintendo Switch. So, make sure to keep an eye out,
