Hunt Enigmatic Monsters in Nullpoint Protocol
Everbloom Games has officially revealed the release date for its upcoming co-op roguelite, Nullpoint Protocol. The game will launch on April 6 on Steam, bringing a fresh take on raid-style gameplay without the heavy time commitment typically associated with MMORPGs.
According to co-founder Tom van Berkel, the team has spent months refining the experience following the game’s demo release earlier this year. He described the development process as both challenging and rewarding, highlighting the positive response received during convention showcases. With strong early feedback behind them, the studio is now preparing to deliver the full experience to players.
Nullpoint Protocol is designed to capture the thrill of large-scale MMORPG raids in a more accessible roguelite format. It draws inspiration from titles like Rabbit and Steel while also channeling the high-intensity boss encounters seen in games such as Final Fantasy XIV. The result is a fast-paced, repeatable gameplay loop that focuses on skill, coordination, and adaptation.
In each run, players take on the role of Hunters tasked with tracking down the Void Shepherds. They are powerful entities capable of consuming entire planets and stars. Combat revolves around learning and reacting to intricate attack patterns, with each attempt offering opportunities to improve, unlock abilities, and strengthen characters.
The game also features dynamic difficulty scaling based on party size. This ensures a balanced challenge whether playing solo or in a group of up to four players. You can wishlist the game right now to be among the first ones to enter the battle. Also, make sure to check out the demo before diving into it.
