Nullpoint Protocol Has Launched a Steam Demo Today

Take Down the Enigmas in Nullpoint Protocol

Everbloom Games has released a playable demo for Nullpoint Protocol, available now on Steam. It’s a 1–4 player co-op roguelite that delivers the thrill of MMO raid encounters without the time-consuming grind. The demo supports online co-op, local couch co-op, and solo play, giving players multiple ways to experience its high-intensity boss-focused gameplay.

Nullpoint Protocol channels the spectacle and coordination of MMORPG raids into a compact, approachable roguelite format. Drawing inspiration from titles like Rabbit and Steel and raid encounters from games such as Final Fantasy XIV, it emphasizes pattern recognition, teamwork, and skill mastery over long-term gear farming.

Each run tasks players with hunting the Void Shepherds. They are colossal, otherworldly entities capable of dragging entire planets and stars into oblivion. As a Hunter, you must defeat as many of these beings as possible before returning home. Then you will have to defend your world from the mysterious force responsible for creating them. Every boss fight features layered attack patterns that demand careful positioning, quick reactions, and constant adaptation.

Progression unfolds naturally through repeated runs, allowing players to unlock new abilities, improve their loadouts, and refine their combat strategies. The game also dynamically scales difficulty based on party size, ensuring balanced and challenging encounters whether playing solo or in a full group.

The demo includes three raid-style boss encounters and 29 player abilities, including 15 core skills and additional upgrades earned through loot drops and in-run shops.

Looking ahead, the full release will introduce more bosses, expanded ability pools, meta progression systems, lore journals, and randomized events that can drastically alter each run. Nullpoint Protocol is currently scheduled to launch in 2026.
