Grow Your Black Market in Prison Boss Prohibition
VR studio TREBUCHET has released Rise and Grind, a major new DLC for Prison Boss Prohibition, the sequel to the cult hit Prison Boss VR. Available now on Quest and SteamVR for $4.99 with regional pricing varying by location, the expansion introduces a brand new neighborhood, fresh crafting tools, and a wealth of new illicit goods to produce, as long as you stay one step ahead of the law.

With the Rise and Grind DLC, Prison Boss Prohibition moves beyond the streets of New Yolk City and into Scrambleton, a gritty 1930s rail town where industry fuels underground deals. Players master an expanded set of tools, including furnaces, anvils, ring molds, and grindstones, to forge valuable contraband by hand. From gold bars and gemstones to rings, watches, and razor-sharp tools, every item contributes to your growing black market reputation.
The DLC supports solo play as well as co op for up to four players, allowing you to run your bootlegging operation with friends. Your new clients, The Eggsploiters, are wealthy and ruthless mine owners who control Scrambleton’s economy, and they expect results. Build relationships with the city’s factions, expand your criminal empire, and avoid unwanted attention from the cops at all costs.
Rise and Grind also continues TREBUCHET’s post-launch support for the game. Recent updates added new cop character models, the ability to bribe officers by throwing cash, and improved comfort options for joystick locomotion. More updates are planned later this year, including a Custom Game Mode and Sandbox. A Season Pass is available on Quest for $7.99 and includes the DLC alongside cosmetic packs for aspiring crime bosses.
