VALORANT Players Join Forces With Top Personalities in Alpha vs Omega ACT 1

The Challenge Begins in VALORANT

VALORANT is starting 2026 with a large-scale community competition that brings players together with some of the game’s most recognisable personalities. The Alpha vs Omega ACT 1 Challenge invites players to compete alongside popular creators, co-streamers, broadcast talent, and professional players as part of a global faction rivalry.

Running from January 7, 2026, the event allows players to choose between two opposing sides, Alpha or Omega. Those who are unsure can take a short quiz that recommends a faction based on playstyle. Once aligned, players contribute to their chosen side by completing weekly in-game objectives and earning faction points through performance.

The challenge features more than 130 creators and professional figures from across the EMEA region. Confirmed participants include M1xwell from Spain, beyAz from France, da1moN from Türkiye, Harmii representing the DACH region, Petra from the Netherlands, and Yinsu from the UK. These personalities will actively represent their factions, encouraging their communities to compete together throughout the event.

Each week introduces new objectives tied to specific gameplay goals, such as achieving the highest number of Bandit kills or earning the most Competitive points. Progress is tracked through live leaderboards, allowing players to monitor how their faction is performing in real time.

Winning factions receive in-game rewards every week, while the top individual performers across the entire challenge are eligible for physical prizes. Players can register through Riot Games’ official Alpha vs Omega Challenge page, where additional details and updates about the ACT 1 competition are also available.
