Turn Up the Volume With Miks in VALORANT
Riot Games has officially revealed a brand new agent for VALORANT during the Grand Finals of the VALORANT Masters Santiago tournament. The upcoming Agent Select Tactician, named Miks, brings a unique music-inspired style to the tactical shooter and will arrive in the next seasonal update.

Hailing from Croatia, Miks channels the power of sound on the battlefield. His abilities revolve around rhythm, sonic waves, and teamwork, allowing him to energize allies while disrupting enemies. Riot showcased the agent with a reveal video featuring “Clarity (VALORANT x BUNT. Remix)”, a fresh reinterpretation of the iconic track originally by Zedd and remixed by rising producer BUNT.
BUNT shared that contributing music to VALORANT was a special opportunity, noting that the team wanted the track to reflect Miks’ energetic sonic identity. According to Riot’s Lead Music Supervisor Jonny Altepeter, the remix balances nostalgia with a style that fits naturally within the VALORANT universe.
Sound also played a major role in the design of the agent’s gameplay. Game Designer Kevin Meier explained that the team composed music first and then extracted atmospheric elements to build Miks’ sound effects. Music is deeply connected to the character’s backstory, reinforcing his upbeat and social personality.
Miks arrives with several sound-driven abilities. Harmonize grants combat stim effects to teammates, M-Pulse can either stun enemies or heal allies, and Waveform allows players to deploy smokes at selected map locations. His ultimate ability, Bass Quakes, unleashes a powerful beam of sound that knocks enemies back, deafens them, and slows their movement.
Miks launches on March 18, 2026, as part of Season 2026 Act 2. The update will also introduce the Blackthorn Collection and a new Battlepass featuring cosmetics such as Bandit Soul Burst, Phantom Dragon Gate, and the Loose Out of the Wrist banner.
