Join the Bullet Hell Action in Luna Abyss
Kwalee and its internal studio, Kwalee Labs, have released a new atmospheric trailer for Luna Abyss, their upcoming first-person bullet hell action adventure. Titled “The Eye Has Opened,” the trailer highlights the game’s heavy mood and deep sense of mystery as it guides players through the shadowed reaches of the mimic moon and the vast abyss hidden inside it.
Luna Abyss is a single-player experience that blends narrative-driven exploration with fast, precise combat. The story centers on Fawkes, a prisoner sent to Luna, a strange celestial body that mirrors the appearance of a moon. However, the place hides something far more unsettling. Each step you take will draw you deeper into an ancient prophecy while reminding the ongoing prison sentence. The result is a journey shaped by tension, shifting truths, and a constant sense of discovery.
A demo is available on Steam for those who want an early look at the world. It features several of the game’s locations and introduces players to the corrupted souls wandering these halls. As well as the cosmic horrors that stalk the deeper areas. It sets the tone for the challenges ahead and provides a glimpse of the fluid movement and bullet hell encounters that define the experience.
The new trailer, ‘The Eye Has Opened,’ presents the atmosphere of Luna Abyss. It focuses on its oppressive structures, haunting sound design, and the unsettling presence watching from within the depths. The game will launch in 2026 on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
