Enlisted Just Received the “Far Eastern Front” Content Update

A Legendary WW2 Battle Awaits in Enlisted

Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software have released the Far Eastern Front content update for Enlisted, introducing a major new chapter inspired by the final stages of World War II. This update centers on the clash between the Soviet Union and Japan, recreating the historic confrontation with the formidable Kwantung Army, which numbered around 700,000 troops. Players can now experience one of the war’s lesser explored theaters through large-scale infantry and vehicle combat.

The update adds the Heilongjiang location, a battlefield shaped by the geography of northeastern China. Rolling hills, traditional rural settlements, and dense urban districts define the terrain. Japanese forces have established heavily fortified defensive lines across the region, forcing Soviet troops to launch coordinated assaults. At the heart of the map lies a large city that reflects the cultural overlap of the era. Stone buildings, broad streets, and Cyrillic signage stand alongside Chinese architectural elements, creating a setting grounded in historical detail.

The Far Eastern Front also expands Enlisted’s arsenal with several notable weapons. New additions include the Chinese Type 88 rifle, the Italian KE7 machine gun, and the American Browning M1919A4. Japanese forces gain access to the experimental Type 2 assault rifle chambered in 6.5mm, known for its extremely high rate of fire. Heavy firepower arrives in the form of the German Ferdinand self-propelled gun, built on the Tiger P chassis and equipped with a powerful 88mm PaK 43/2 cannon and exceptionally thick frontal armor.

Alongside new content, the update improves battlefield immersion. Explosions from grenades, mortars, and anti-tank weapons now carve visible craters into the ground. Vehicles display heated metal after sustained fire, and the destruction of paper and wooden objects features enhanced visual effects. Together, these changes make combat feel more dynamic and grounded across every encounter.
