War Thunder Takes Plight With Eagle’s Shadow Update Mid-November

Things Are Getting More Explosive in War Thunder

War Thunder is preparing to unleash some serious firepower with its next major update, Eagle’s Shadow. Gaijin Entertainment has confirmed that the update will arrive in mid-November, bringing dozens of new military vehicles, devastating cluster bombs, and the powerful F-15EX Eagle II fighter jet to the battlefield.

The F-15EX Eagle II will headline the update as a new top-tier aircraft for the US and Israeli aviation lineups. Combining the legendary F-15’s impressive performance with modern technology, the fighter features AESA radar and advanced electronic warfare systems. In War Thunder, it can carry up to 12 active radar-guided air-to-air missiles or 20 guided bombs, making it a formidable addition to aerial combat.

Another notable arrival is the Soviet Su-15TM, a Cold War interceptor capable of exceeding Mach 2. The aircraft will introduce the R-98MR radar-guided and R-98MT infrared-guided missiles. Pilots will also get access to a new weapon category: cluster bombs, including the Russian RBK-500 and American CBU-87/B. This will surely allow players to scatter multiple explosives across target areas.

Ground battles will receive some serious reinforcements as well. Germany and Sweden are getting the Leopard 2A8, featuring the Trophy active protection system. There will be additional armour, advanced thermal imaging, and powerful ammunition as well. Meanwhile, naval players can take command of the Imperator Nikolai I, a heavily armoured Russian battleship equipped with twelve 305mm guns.

With powerful aircraft, new weapons, and major additions across all three combat branches, Eagle’s Shadow is shaping up to be an exciting update. Gaijin promises to reveal more details in the coming weeks.
