Enlisted Expands Into World War I With New Trench Warfare Event

Enter the Great War in Enlisted

Gaijin Entertainment has introduced a new update for Enlisted, expanding the World War II shooter to include battles from the Great War. The studio is rolling out these changes through a limited-time event called “All Loud on the Western Front,” which runs until April 15.

The update adds new squads with extremely low Battle Ratings, ranging from zero to minus three. The developers designed these squads specifically for the event, where they are actively testing new gameplay mechanics.

During the event, the game transports players to World War I battlefields dominated by trench warfare. Players fight using period-accurate equipment, including bolt-action rifles, trench clubs, and stationary machine guns. Artillery fire and gas attacks constantly threaten both sides, forcing teams to fight carefully for every bit of ground.

The event centers on a sector capture mode with two active objectives at the same time. Teams must hold one point while they attempt to capture the other. At key moments, the game triggers a general offensive involving the entire team, and soon after, the opposing side launches a counterattack.

Players can also use radio stations placed across the map to call in artillery strikes, bombardments, and gas attacks. In this mode, gas masks play a critical role, as players must rely on them to survive gas assaults rather than treat them as simple cosmetic items.

Players who complete event objectives earn Battle Pass rewards, including unique World War I weapons such as the SMLE Mk III (T) and Mondragón M1908, along with themed customization items and other in-game resources.
