Join the Twisted Competition in Rogue Labyrinth
Tea Witch Games is bringing chaos, combat, and satire to Steam with Rogue Labyrinth, an action-packed narrative roguelite launching September 1, 2025. Published by indie.io, the game follows Iris, a sharp-tongued nomad returning to her homeland of Lantanas, now transformed into a deadly reality show by a billionaire named Echelon.
In this dystopian game show, contestants fight for the chance to become Monarch of Lantanas. Players must navigate a constantly changing Labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and bizarre challenges. Combat combines bullet hell evasion with fast-paced melee action. And the cool part is that nearly anything can become a weapon. This includes furniture, rubble, or even knocked-out rivals.
Each run through the Labyrinth offers new powers, strategies, and relationships. Players can forge alliances, share meals to boost stats, and unlock storylines across over 4,000 lines of dialogue. With magical abilities, ancient relics, and upgrades donated by virtual viewers, no two runs are the same.
Rogue Labyrinth emphasizes both accessibility for newcomers and depth for genre veterans. Its evolving show format means that every action shifts audience perception. This alters Iris’s standing and opens fresh paths in future runs.
A free demo is now live on Steam. Fans and media can experience the game firsthand at Gamescom (Hall 10.2, Stand F11) in Cologne from August 20 to 24 and at PAX West, where the developers will be available for interviews. Press and creators interested in covering the game can request interview access through the provided form.
With its blend of unpredictable combat and player-driven storytelling, Rogue Labyrinth promises a dynamic roguelite adventure where every decision shapes the show.
