Fallen City Brawl Will Fight Its Way to Steam and GOG in August 2025

Get Ready to Fight in Fallen City Brawl

Fallen City Studio and Eastasiasoft Limited will release Fallen City Brawl, a side-scrolling beat ’em up inspired by arcade classics, on August 12 for PC via Steam and GOG. To build excitement ahead of launch, the developers have released a new trailer, fresh screenshots, and an updated demo now available on Steam. Players can try the game and add it to their wishlists.

Fallen City Brawl brings the energy of late 1980s and early 1990s belt scrollers into a modern setting. Players can choose from multiple characters, unleash screen-filling special moves, and chain together hard-hitting combos. The game’s fluid pixel art and oversized sprites add visual impact across seven varied stages, including city streets, subways, and snow-covered zones. While newcomers can jump right in, the game also introduces fresh challenges that experienced players have praised during demo testing.

The story follows four strangers and their loyal wolf as they join forces to take back Fallen City from a violent criminal underworld. They must survive a brutal gauntlet of battles and face a showdown that will determine the city’s future.

Players can fight solo or team up locally in co-op mode. Animated cutscenes drive the narrative, while a powerful soundtrack from composer Daniel Lindholm adds intensity to each level. The game’s combat system includes destructive combos, counters, special moves, and powerful RIOT supers to keep every encounter dynamic.

Developer Mike Wells and the team at Fallen City Studio created the game in close collaboration with Eastasiasoft. Fallen City Brawl will launch for $14.99/€14.99, with a 10% launch discount available for a limited time.
