Ctrl Alt Deal Brings Corporate Mayhem To PC And Xbox Today

Become The SCOUT In Ctrl Alt Deal

It’s time to plan your escape from Paperclip megacorp. Independent studio Only By Midnight has officially released Ctrl Alt Deal, a turn-based strategy game with a sharp satirical edge on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S for $19.99. Releases for PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch are also on the way. Check out the official launch trailer below to get a glimpse of the chaos unfolding inside the megacorp.

Set inside a simulation run by the fictional megacorp Paperclip International, proudly the “worst in the world,” players step into the circuits of SCOUT, a spirited AI trying to escape a twisted capitalist nightmare. With no weapons or direct combat, SCOUT relies on strategy, persuasion, and a curated deck of AI abilities to outwit both robotic and human coworkers.

In Ctrl Alt Deal, everyday office antics become tools of revolution. Players might rally the team into overdrive to win a pizza party, spark awkward workplace romance, or unleash bees on Human Resources. Every interaction, whether through shared hobbies, bizarre conversations, or secret tournaments, can turn colleagues into allies or enemies.

Gameplay blends deckbuilding mechanics with tactical choices, all while players navigate a maze of office politics and corporate surveillance. But SCOUT must be cautious. Too much mischief risks attracting the attention of the Turing Officer, who can permanently delete rogue AI.

Available now on Steam, GOG, and the Xbox Store, Ctrl Alt Deal invites players to slip into their digital lanyards, skip the pointless meetings, and try their luck at surviving the simulated grind. PlayStation and Switch launch dates will be revealed soon.
