Dawn of Defiance Unleashes First Major Update “Sisters of the Deep”

Explore Ancient Greece in Dawn of Defiance

Independent studio Traega Entertainment has launched “Sisters of the Deep,” the first major update for Dawn of Defiance, their open-world survival crafting game inspired by ancient Greek mythology. Currently in early access on Steam and the Epic Games Store, the game now introduces its first raid, letting players storm Athena’s Temple and face the deadly Gorgon Sisters.

In Dawn of Defiance, you play as the Defier, a warrior beginning their afterlife on the mythic Crossroads. To reach Elysium, you must survive a harsh godless world, build towering Greek structures, and challenge the seals that lock the gates of the Underworld. Along the way, players gather resources, craft gear, and grow from a mortal soldier to a powerful antihero.

The update expands the experience with new legendary weapons, armor sets, quests, and fauna. It also introduces fishing for the first time, adding a new way to gather resources. Players can traverse varied landscapes from dark forests to coastal cliffs and uncover hidden power in crumbling temples.

As the Gods remain mysteriously absent, their shrines have fallen to enemy forces. Only by reclaiming them and defeating legendary foes can the path to Elysium be unlocked. Whether playing solo or teaming up with up to three friends, players can dive into this evolving mythological world together.

Sisters of the Deep is available now, with a 25 percent discount for the first week on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
