Momodora: Moonlit Farewell is a 2D Metroidvania game with a heavy focus on exploration and action. The narrative unfolds 5 years after the events in Momodora III, centering on the greatest calamity to befall the village of Koho.
Upon hearing the ominous toll of a bell, the village quickly finds itself facing the imminent threat of a demon invasion. The Matriarch sends Momo Reinol, the high priest, to investigate this incident and to identify the individual accountable for summoning demons.
Once again, the fate of the villagers rests in Momo’s hands. Her primary objective is to find the culprit and stop the invasion, safeguarding both the community and the sacred Lun Tree, a vital source of life and healing for Koho.
