Lucid Dreams Studio is proud to announce that their latest title BIOMORPH is now available on Steam. Ubisoft funded the game recently and it offers a unique metroidvania experience with a twist. BIOMORPH is a 2D hand-drawn Metroidvania adventure game where you can transform into the creatures that you killed. Step inside the shoes of Harlo, one of the only surviving creatures of their species, and explore the fantastic world of Ilios. He possesses a special skill that allows him to absorb and transform into any fallen creature he slays. It grants him new abilities for combat and exploration.
Players can level up their character as they fight through the city, collecting new abilities, mementos, and chips. They can also optimize their builds to cater to all styles of play utilizing varied skills to tackle various challenges. Choose the right arsenal of melee and range weapons, each of them having its upgrade tree, to take down enemies.
Explore a vast non-linear, interconnected world with different environments, boss fights, interesting NPCs, tons of secrets, and upgrades. This epic journey will reveal surprising and alarming truths about the origins of our hero.
Not only that, players must also rebuild the Blightmoor and befriend its inhabitants. Try to learn more about their daily life and the town’s origins. Players can even customize the look of the city to make it their own.
