Dark Atlas: Infernum Demo Is Now Available on Steam

Embrace the Horror of the Imprints

Publisher Selecta Play and developer Night Council Studio have launched a playable demo version of Dark Atlas: Infernum on Steam today. It will introduce players to the first full chapter of the game and the ghostly entities known as Imprints. Moreover, the game will be coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles in 2024.

Dark Atlas: Infernum is a disturbing first-person psychological horror survival game with a huge emphasis on narrative. It takes place in a world that is falling apart due to constant electrical storms. After each passing, ghostly-looking humanoid figures suddenly appear all over the place.

Scientists are baffled, but the true sorcerers of the time have had visions, nightmares, and premonitory dreams about all these events. They decided to name the ghosts ‘Imprints’. Amidst all this chaos, tyrannies proliferate and sects, secret organizations, and demonic cults are seeking a way to gain control of the remains of humanity.

The player takes on the role of Natalia Asensio, former Grand Master of the oldest occult order in the West: the Night Council. Natalia must descend into the abysses of her mind, walk the paths of hell, and seek answers to all questions.

She must unlock her memories, and resist the influence of the enigmatic character known as “The Word”. And find her way out of the maze in which she finds herself locked up before those whose ambition is to control this new apocalyptic world get their hands on her.

The game focuses on stealth and puzzles. Players will need to use their wits and cunning to survive, as they are often outnumbered and outgunned. The game also features a variety of environmental hazards and traps, which players must avoid in order to progress.
