A Remastered Version of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds
Publisher and developer Rocket Panda Games has announced Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate. The game will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2024.
Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate is a complete remaster of the 2013 anime side-scrolling beat ’em up game. The developer used Unreal Engine 5 to rebuild the game. It will feature enhanced visuals, improved gameplay mechanics, and exciting new features. This title will also support 8-player cross-platform online play.
The story follows a group of young people with ancient weapons known as Fu-mension Artifacts (F.A.). The weapons grant them special abilities. The Phantom, a mysterious man who seeks to unseal his dark powers, convinces them to battle each other with the promise to grant the wishes of the victors. However, they create a rift between parallel worlds whenever they use their weapons, which will inevitably unseal the Phantom’s powers.

-Original Soundtrack Remastered: Immerse yourself in the game’s dynamic atmosphere with the all-new soundtrack. It also includes all of the tracks from the original and Overdrive.
-Phantom Breakers All-Girl J-Rock Band Debut: All new opening songs performed by the in-universe characters, Mikoto, Waka, Itsuki, Yuzuha, and Maestra.
