Make Room for Spider-Man 2
Are you excited to swing your webs through the beautiful landscape of New York City? Well, before that happens, we have a very ‘big’ announcement for you. The upcoming sequel Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will require at least 98GP of storage on your PlayStation 5. The game will launch on 20 October 2023.
The news came directly from a tweet. A user shared an image of the Spider-Man 2 PS5 limited edition, along with the following caption: “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 officially requires a minimum of 98GB per the official Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Console Bundle Retail Box #SpiderMan2PS5.” James Stevenson, the community director of Insomniac Games retweeted it with a GIF that seemed to confirm the news.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a sequel to the original 2018 Spider-Man and its 2020 follow-up, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game is set several years after the events of the first game and sees Peter Parker and Miles Morales team up to take on various threats in the city. The main villains of the game include Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, and Venom.
The game will allow players to switch between playing as Peter Parker and Miles Morales at any time. Both characters will have their own unique abilities and playstyles. Peter Parker is the more experienced Spider-Man, with a wider range of gadgets and abilities. Miles Morales is the younger Spider-Man, but he has the ability to camouflage and generate venom blasts.
The game will also feature a new story that will explore the relationship between Peter Parker and Miles Morales. The two Spider-Men will need to work together to stop the villains and protect New York City.
