When it comes to animation and film studios, there are two names that usually come to mind. You’re often in the camp of Disney or DreamWorks. If you are a DreamWorks fan, you will like this upcoming game; DreamWorks All Star Kart Racing.
Your favorite DreamWorks characters will be jumping in their appropriately themed karts and off to the races. The roster will be made up of characters from films like the Shrek series, Puss in Boots, Kung Fu Panda, Trolls, and others. As you might expect, the tracks they will be racing are also inspired by familiar locations from the films.
DreamWorks All Star Kart Racing will have several game modes. There will be a Cups to compete for, as well as Free Races, Challenges, and Time Trials. Over twenty characters and karts, which can be customized with different parts and accessories.
The cover art shows Shrek, Trolls, Po, Boss Baby, Hiccup, Puss in Boots, and Tigress, so you know they will be in the game. There will be a standard edition priced at $40, but the Deluxe Edition will cost $50. It will come with two bonus characters, Master Oogway from Kung Fu Panda and Wolf from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
This new kart racer is being developed by Bamtang and published by GameMill Entertainment. This duo has released the three Nickelodeon Kart Races games. Kart racers seem to be their thing.
There is no release date yet, but DreamWorks All Star Kart Racing will be coming out sometime this year. It will launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
