A44 Games is an independent video game developer based in New Zealand that previously worked on Ashen. The company is currently developing Flintlock: Siege of Dawn. It was set for release sometime in 2023 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It is also set to release on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. However, the company announced that its release will be delayed until 2024.
Via its official Twitter, the developer explained the rationale behind the decision. In the statement, they began by stating that they intend to provide the best experience at launch and have made the decision to move the game’s release to 2024. The company has been hard at work at crafting a deep and unique world with fights, a sense of reward and discovery.
Therefore, the team plans to make the most impressive and unforgettable game that they can. In closing, the company stated, “Your ongoing and unwavering support has been incredible.
