Blasphemous 2 Set To Hit Last Gen Consoles In Autumn

Publisher Team 17 along with developer The Game Kitchen plan to release Blasphemous 2 on 24th August. It will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S upon its release. However, today, via its official Twitter, the team has announced that the game will be available on old gen consoles, that is the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, sometime this Autumn. The game is currently available to be wish listed on Steam.

Via its official Twitter, the company stated, “We have an important update regarding last gen versions of Blasphemous 2″. Moreover, in the announcement, the company noted that, “We have an update for all regarding last gen versions of Blasphemous 2. We are pleased to confirm that work has now begun on both Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game and will be launching this Autumn.” Additionally, in a reply to a tweet, the team behind TheGameKitchen noted that the game runs perfectly on the Steam Deck, and will have to be verified.

In the game, the Penitent One has awoken and the game picks up where the Wounds of Eventide DLC ends. Players will dive into a perilous world where there are mysteries and secrets to discover and several monstrous foes to defeat along the way. Also, players will explore several brutal executions, new weapons and twisted bosses with unique attack patters and scary abilities. Blasphemous 2 offers a very unique experience.
