Prepare for More DystopiaÂ
It’s time to become more than human once again. This time, you’re exiting the Dharma Tower into the sprawling and dangerous wasteland beyond it. Today, during the PlayStation Showcase,  publisher 505 Games and developer One More Level happily announced their first-person cyberpunk-action thriller Ghostrunner 2. The sequel to the acclaimed cyberpunk game of the same name, the game builds upon the elements of the first game while expanding the game’s world. Ghostrunner 2 re-introduces players to the world of Ghostrunner. However, players will go beyond the dystopian Dharma Tower of the first game this time. In fact, this time players will see players, reassuming their role as cyber ninja Jack, exploring the wasteland. Yet, this time, the sequel pushes players to their limits. Players will slaughter their way through the wasteland using a whole host of newfound powers, upgradeable abilities, traversal mechanics, an expanded narrative, deeper world-building, devilish new enemies, and more.Â
Furthermore, players will have access to vehicular combat for the first time. That’s right, as Jack, players will now have access to a motorcycle as they cross the waste. Of course, as they do, players can enjoy a whole new synth-wave soundtrack that heightens the killing of a true Ghostrunner.Â
