Last summer’s horror game that grabbed PC gamers is now on Nintendo Switch. DarkStone Digital and DreadXP Games announced on Thursday that The Mortuary Assistant is available. We’ve said it before, but if you are someone who drops their controllers in terror, maybe be careful with this game on Switch.
If you’ve been to scared to check this game out, The Mortuary Assistant mixes puzzles, body horror, ghosts, demons, and all around spooky elements. You play as… well, a mortician’s assistant. You spend your nights embalming the deceased, but also binding demons to bodies and exorcising them.
While performing your tasks, the demon will haunt you. You will experience paranormal encounters and even revisit haunting events from your character’s past. With multiple endings and results, there is quite a bit of game here to play, if you can endure the horror. There is also reportedly a film adaptation in the works for The Mortuary Assistant, so hopefully, there is even more life in this IP.
Ever wanted to perform embalming…
