You’re Going to Have a BLAST of Us
With the exception of The Last of Us Part 2’s release, the Naughty Dog series might currently be reaching critical mass hype. The HBO series is consuming the hearts of veteran fans and new ones alike. PC gamers are also awaiting their release of The Last of Us Part 1.
Earlier this month, Naughty Dog had to announce a delay for the PC port. Originally coming out on March 3rd, the release date has been pushed to March 28th. If you have been waiting for this PC port, you might want to consider if you want the standard edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition.
The Digital Deluxe Edition actually matches the digital content of the PS5’s Firefly Edition. It comes with early unlocks for Increased Crafting Speed Skill, Increased Healing Speed Skill, 9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade, and Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade. It also unlocks the Explosive Arrows Gameplay Modifier, Dither Punk Filter, Speedrun Mode, and Left Behind prequel chapter.
As far as cosmetic items go, the Digital Deluxe Edition also includes two skins each for the 9mm Pistol, Shotgun, and Bow. The difference between this and the Firefly Edition is that it lacks the steelbook case and comic book tie-in. If you buy The Last of Us Part 1 on PC, you can separately purchase the Digital Deluxe Upgrade at a later point, if you like.
The Last of Us Part 1 is available now for PS5 and will come out for PC on March 28th.
