Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Trailer Unveils Cast Member and More
Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most hyped games in recent memory. CD Projekt Red, a popular developer that worked on The Witcher series, launched the game to much fanfare. However, the game disappointed many. Since then, the team has been working on more content and improvements for the title. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is set to release sometime in 2023. Today, the developers released a teaser trailer showing off in-game footage, a new cast member and more. It will release on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
In the teaser trailer, viewers are given a look at Night City’s Dogtown, where much of the expansion’s incidents will take place. Furthermore, players get a view of Solomon Reed, a new cast member played by world famous actor Idris Elba. Solomon Reed joins the team alongside Johnny Silverhand as a veteran United States agent and a trusted sidekick to assist in a mission of espionage. Moreover, in the trailer, Idris Elba provides his take on the character and game.
Besides that, viewers were given some insight into gameplay and flashes of other brand new additions to look forward to when the expansion releases. Cyberpunk 2077 has a ton of potential as a action-adventure RPG. Moreover, fans of the franchise should check out Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix. It is an animated series that takes place in Night City. Fans loved its emotional journey, twists and turns and action.
