River City Girls 2 Release Has Been Delayed Until Later This Year
WayForward is a popular video game company that works with a variety of indie developers to produce quality games. Some of its games include Contra, Batman: Brave and The Bold and Ducktales: Remastered. The company is preparing for the launch of River City Girls, however they have announced that the game’s release has been delayed. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
In an official release via Twitter, the company stated, “The Japanese/Asian version of RCG2 launches tomorrow from Arc Systems Works, but we need a bit more time in the oven for the North American/ European version in order to deliver the best, most full-featured experience possible.” Furthermore, the team stated, “As of now, we’re still expecting to launch the game before the end of 2022.” The release closes by stating that they would keep fans updated on any further release date changes.
In the game, players must prepare for Round 2 as an old foe returns for revenge against the girls and new characters including Maria and Provie. Moreover, players will hit the streets in some beat ’em up action with new abilities, enemies, allies, locations and much more. The game offers co-op action along with the ability to level up, buy items and use the shop for various purchases. The game has a lot to offer.
