Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection PC Version Due in October
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection finally has a launch date for PCs. A leak on the Epic Games Store has revealed that the game is set for a release on October 19th. Devs quickly took down this information, but not before eagle-eyed fans spotted it.
“The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, remastered and optimized for PC, hits Epic Games Store on October 19th,” the page said before devs restored the page to its original format. “If you pre-purchase it you will get a snazzy new Fortnite glider in the shape of Sully’s sea plane.”
Players can get their hands on the sea plane when they pre-purchase the game from the store. “You get the glider immediately following your pre-purchase,” the page continued. “Or you can wait for the sea plane to hit the Fortnite item shop on November 17th.”
Devs first confirmed the PC port for the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection last September. Fans expected it to arrive “shortly after” the launch of the PS5 version. The latter came out on January 28th but there has been no sign of the game’s PC version. The store’s April update suggested that the game will launch to PCs in June. However, the gaming public is well aware that this did not happen.
The new October PC launch date makes it the second release date that fans have seen from the Epic Games Store. Considering that devs were quick to remove the information from the page, fans may want to manage their expectations. However, it is worth noting that it does look pretty solid.
The Steam page for the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection still only shows a 2022 release date. However, a June update on SteamDB indicates that it set for a release on October 19th.
