Psychonauts has a modest, yet interesting legacy. After 16 years since the first game, Pychonauts 2 came out last year. In that time, there was a hardcore group of fans that never gave up hope and their faith was rewarded. Now there is a collector’s edition available that is perfect for fans of the series.
iam8bit is coming out with a physical collector’s edition that comes with a ton of really cool things. First off, it comes with Psychonauts 2: Motherlobe Edition. This includes a Lenticular O-Sleeve, a Premium Die-cut Sticker Pack, 6 Art Cards, a Digital Download Code for Exclusive Behind the Scenes Development Concepts, and a Collector’s Edition exclusive Reversible Cover Sheet.
It also has a physical disc copy of the first Psychonauts game. It’s unclear if the first game is made native to Xbox One and PS4 though. The collector editions also includes a Digital Download Code for Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of the Psychonauts 2 Digital Soundtrack. There are physical items such as Exclusive 5 Pin Set of the Feast of the Senses, 18×24” Blacklight Poster of Raz, Exclusive Poster of “Raz’s Archetype” from Psychonauts 2 by Chris Lam, Extra Sticker Sheet, All in a beautiful exclusive collector’s box!
You can order Psychonauts 2 Collector’s Edition for $129.99 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is expected to ship in Q4 2022. Psychonauts is available on PC and Xbox. Psychonauts 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Both games are available on Xbox Game Pass.
