Street Fighter 6 Full Lineup Has Been Confirmed
Street Fighter 6 has more characters coming up. Capcom has just officially confirmed the game’s full character roster. Although this is the first time that devs made the official announcement, this information has actually leaked to the Internet earlier this year.
According to the announcement, Marisa, Luke, Dee Jay, Manon, Lily, Jamie, E. Honda, JP, Kimberly, Cammy, Zangief, Juri, Dhalsim, Chun-Li, Guile, Ryu, and Blanka will all be available in the game. Moreover, all eight of the original World Warriors that fans will recognize from Street Fighter 2 will also star in Street Fighter 6.
Capcom also informed Street Fighter 6 fans this week that the closed beta for the game’s Battle Hub will begin next month. They confirmed during this year’s TGS Online Program that the closed beta will be held on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X for three days. Fans are glad to know that the beta will support crossplay across all three platforms. Those who want to take part in the beta can sign up for it now.
Street Fighter 6’s closed beta test will include Casual Match, Open Tournament, Ranked Match, Game Center, Battle Hub Match, Training Mode, and Extreme Battle. Players can make choose among eight characters for the test. These are Jamie, Ryu, Ken, Kimberly, Luke, Juri, Guile, and Chun-Li.
Devs also gave Street Fighter 6 fans some footage from World Tour during today’s showcase. This particular feature is going to have a large open world. It will give players the opportunity to explore different locations in the map and meet the classic characters that fans of the franchise are most likely already familiar with. They can battle against other NPCs as well.
