Marvel’s Midnight Suns Hit With Delay, Longer Delay for Older Consoles

Just Use the Time Stone to Speed Things Up

Everyone knows that game development never goes as planned. It seems there are delays more often than not. Marvel’s Midnight Suns was first slated for a March 2022 release, but it was delayed until October. Today, the developers announced that it will be delayed once again.

Firaxis Games released a statement saying that the game will still be coming out this fiscal year. Don’t be fooled by that phrase. Their fiscal year just started back in April. This means that it will be out by March 2023, giving themselves a much larger release window than we thought. Hopefully, when Firaxis Games gives us a more exact date, we will see if this delay is as major as it can be.

Unfortunately, the release of Marvel’s Midnight Suns on different platforms will be staggered. The PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S versions will be coming out first, sometime this fiscal year. PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will be coming out sometime after, which may or may not be after March 2023.

We just got a look at gameplay of Captain Marvel in Midnight Suns on the weekend. If you thought this was an indication that the game is ready, this information may be disappointing to you.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be coming out on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. We just do not know when.
