Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Is Coming Out Next March
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor fans have been in a frenzy since the game appeared in a store page on the PlayStation Network. Apparently, the information they found on the page suggested that the game has a March 2023 release date.
“Star Wars Jedi: Survivor listed for early March 2023 (maybe late February) on PSN DB,” as announced on social media.
A store page for the game is also available on Steam. Unfortunately, fans cannot pre-order the game on either store page. However, they can include the title on their wish list. Doing this will let them know once devs finally launch the game.
It is worth noting that the March date could only be a placeholder. After all, March is the end of the fiscal year. Some fans think that the date merely means EA plans to release the game before the end of the fiscal year.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor appearing on both Steam and PSN also suggests that devs are preparing for an upcoming announcement. Fans are hopeful that EA will provide more details about the game then. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is actually a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Its predecessor followed the journey of Cal during an era when the Empire ruled the galaxy. The upcoming game continues Cal’s back story five years after the events that took place in the first game.
Respawn Entertainment is returning to develop the game. Fans of the franchise are well aware that they were also the team behind the first game. EA is publishing both games as part of their agreement with Disney. According to the agreement, EA has the license to produce all Star Wars video games.
The gaming community loved Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Fans and critics alike praised the title for its very challenging yet rewarding gameplay and graphics.
