From MJ to the WNBA
Another year, another NBA game. Well, to be fair, every sport has a new game come out every year. If you are a gamer who enjoys them, then more power to you. You also have a lot of choice in securing your copy of NBA 2K23.
There are several editions of the new NBA game. There is the standard, WNBA Edition, Michael Jordan Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Championship Edition. Each of them come with various tiers of digital content and bonuses.
Pre-ordering any edition of NBA 2K23 will get you 5,000 Virtual Currency, 5,000 MyTEAM Points, 10 MyTEAM Promo Packs (delivered one a week), a Boost for each MyCAREER Skill type, a Boost for each Gatorade Boost type, Devin Booker MyPLAYER Jersey, and 95 Rated Devin Booker MyTEAM Free Agent Card. The WNBA Edition, which is only available in physical copy, comes with 1 Sue Bird Jersey in The W and in MyCAREER, 1 Diana Taurasi Jersey in The W and in MyCAREER. Hopefully, WNBA players will be allowed in the player hub worlds this year. Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird are the cover athletes for the WNBA Edition.
In the NBA 2K23 Digital Deluxe Edition, players will get 10K MyTEAM Points, 10 MyTEAM Tokens, 23 MyTEAM Promo Packs, Sapphire Devin Booker and Ruby Michael Jordan MyTEAM Cards, 1 Free Agent Option Pack, 1 Diamond Jordan Shoe, 1 Ruby Coach Card Pack, 10 Boosts for each MyCAREER Skill Boost type, 10 Boosts for each Gatorade Boost type, 1 2-Hr Double XP Coin, 4 Cover Star T-Shirts, 1 Backpack and Arm Sleeves, and Custom-designed Cover Star Skateboard. 10 of the MyTeam Promo Packs will be distributed upon launch and then 2 packs every week for six weeks.
The Michael Jordan Edition comes with everything in the Digital Deluxe Edition, plus 100K Virtual Currency. The Championship Edition comes with everything above, plus a 12 Month NBA League Pass Subscription, 10% XP Boosts in MyTEAM and MyCAREER Season Progression, and a Michael Jordan-themed Go Kart.
NBA 2K23 will be coming out on September 9th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
