Two Point Campus Devs Added 3 More Months to Development
Two Point Campus is an upcoming quirky sim management game from Two Point Studios. The game was originally due to launch next month. However, devs have confirmed that they have decided to delay release until August.
The team behind Two Point Campus wants to make sure that all versions of the game will be well-optimized for each platform. They want to release the game simultaneously on all platforms instead of delaying it on only some of them.
“Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us,” said Game Director Mark Webley. “This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms.”
The original release date was May 17th. Now, following the devs’ announcement, Two Point Campus is due to come out on August 9th. “We will use these additional three months to optimize Two Point Campus for all platforms,” they added. “So, it is ready just tin time before the new school year starts!”
“Do not get us wrong, we are nearly there,” added Community Manager Marg Steggall. “The extra three months we have is going to really help us get Two Point Campus to the quality you have all come to expect from us as a studio.”
Players will get the chance to play as the administrator of different institutions. In Two Point Hospital, players got to build and run a medical ward. Now, the focus shifts to a college or university. Two Point Campus players get to teach students high quality courses from Knight School to Gastronomy.
