Trek to Yomi introduces players to the protagonist. A man focusing on duty, a promise to his dying master binding him. He is a lone samurai left defending his village from outside threats. Importantly, the game’s atmosphere and mixed 2.5D art style emphasizes the story. Taking inspiration from the old samurai movies and stories of the past, Trek to Yomi, unleashes players in a greyscale world where intense samurai fights are around every corner. Players will go beyond life and death as the protagonist, where you will face yourself and decide which way you wish to go.

Additionally, the new extended gameplay video gives players a new look at what they can expect from the game. From the intense slash and riposte combat to the brooding atmosphere. Furthermore, players will be able to get a look at how Trek to Yomi implements storytelling. Equally important, players get to see how they will become a samurai.

Trek to Yomi is releasing on May 5th, 2022. Of course, the game will be available on PC, as well as, Xbox and PlayStation Consoles. So, will you become the samurai? Can you save the village and avenge your master?
