Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’s PC Specs Are Forgiving

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is Team Ninja’s hack ‘n’ slash take on the original title of the franchise.  Devs are launching the game on March 18th as an Epic Games Store exclusive. Thankfully for fans, devs have officially announced the game’s official PC system requirements.

Introducing the minimum and recommended specs to play Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin,” devs wrote on social media. “Available March 18th.”

Fortunately, it would seem that fans will be able to run it at its recommended settings. Although it requires 80GB of storage space, getting a smooth 60 fps at 1080p is not going to be a problem.

Basically, anything that is better than an i7-8700 / Ryzen 5 1600 and a GTX 1660 Super / RX 5700 XT will suffice. On the minimum side, an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i7-6700 with 8GB of RAM is required to run it. Fans will also need at least a GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 470 for graphics card power.

As expected, getting 1080p and 60 frames per second will require a bit more than that. For CPU, an Intel Core i7-8700 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 16GB of RAM will set the Recommended floor. For graphics cards, they will need either a GTX 1660 Super or an RX 5700 XT.

However, the specs for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin does not really specify what players will need for 4K or higher frame rates. Still, it has become apparent that they will not need a bleeding edge rig in order to play the game.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is basically a retelling of the original game. However, fans may notice that this one has more edginess applied to it. Its combat seems to have been taken straight out of the Soulslike play book. Instead of being a standard RPG, it has more of an action approach.
