Rainbow Six Siege Now Has a Team Deathmatch Mode

A Good Ol’ Fashioned Firefight

Rainbow Six has always been more of a tactical shooter than other games in the shooter genre. Rainbow Six Siege took it to a new level with all the Operators and their gear and abilities. There are currently 63 different characters to choose from, with more on the way.

Earlier this week, Ubisoft introduced a new game mode that would break down Rainbow Six Siege to its bare bones. Most game-types have specific objectives, such as secure the hostage, plant the bomb, disarm the bomb, or eliminate the other team. Team Deathmatch is… well, you know what Team Deathmatch is.

The truth is that most game modes can be won by eliminating the opposing team. However, Team Deathmatch is all about wracking up the kills. There are multiple spawns, so more than one life per round. Operators also have their abilities removed, so it’s down to bullets and bombs.

If taking things slow and being careful just isn’t your thing, you can go in loud with a good old fashion 5v5 Team Deathmatch. No more worrying about someone setting up a turret or running around with a drone.

Rainbow Six Siege is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
