Lost Ark Players Got Banned for Refunding Founder’s Packs

Lost Ark Players and the Ban Wave

Multiple Lost Ark fans discovered that their accounts have been banned. They do not know why this happened to them. However, it was later on found out that there seemed to be a common link that connected all of the unlucky accounts.

Apparently, the Lost Ark players who were affected claimed Founder’s Pack rewards and then asked for refunds right after. Fans have dubbed it as Commerce Lock.

I was banned due to ‘Lost Ark purchased DLC has been refunded for the account,’” one fan shared. “But here is the thing, I have never refunded anything on Steam.”

Many players even shared their purchase history to prove that they did not ask for any refunds. “What I have done is purchase platinum Founder’s skins for classes that I like to play,” the fan added. “My assumption is one of those people who originally owned one of those pieces refunded their Founder’s Pack and I got banned because I had the item on me.

The ban wave has angered many Lost Ark fans across the board. “The automatic replies to appeals saying they ‘investigated’ and our ban is warranted,” another player wrote. “Even when we provide proof that it could not possibly be.”

We reviewed the information you provided on appeal and have confirmed that the original disciplinary action was merited in your case,” Amazon Game Studios responded to some players. “We take instances of Commerce seriously as it is harmful to the community and violates the following section of our Code of Conduct: Amazon games Refund Policy.”

Players think they are merely getting bot replies from Amazon Games Support. However, the Forum Moderator has confirmed that the response truly came from actual members of the studio’s appeal team.

I am sorry to hear about this situation but those are not bot responses,” the Moderator revealed. “Those responses are from our appeal team and if they upheld the original ban it is because an investigation was made and it was deemed correct.
