Looks Like Dolmen Is on Its Way

The Game Can Now Be Pre-ordered

Dolmen, cited to be Dark Souls in Space (by none other than us) is finally coming out for release.

Dolmen, follows the story of a mercenary (unnamed) who was hired by a mining company to investigate the problems on Revion Prime, where Xeno humans were conducting a scientific and mining operation. Once there, players need to resolve the problem, and more importantly, survive the alien horrors.

With the announcement, there comes a new trailer for Dolmen (which is rated 16+) and an indication of what consoles it will be present on at the time of release. That, and for those who wish to pre-order will be able to get the armor, ax, and sword set that’s seen in the trailer itself- which appears to be white and teal (or green) with black accents, instead of a full black outfit. It’s called the Day One Rebel Set, assuming the name comes from being, well, that it’s due to ordering before day one. It’s possible it could do with game lore, but it’s difficult to say without playing the game itself.

More importantly though for those who have a desire to play a possibly scary sci-fi game, and do not wish to do so alone, there appears to be the ability to use cooperative and multiplayer play. How this differs, has not been explained, but may be assumed that this may be like the Dark Souls franchise- that is, it is possible to summon help when it is difficult to go against a particular boss, and multi player when players want to have fun with friends or make some along the way.

Again, this has not been confirmed nor denied, and we will hopefully learn more about this game feature closure to the release window- or perhaps a little after.

Dolmen is coming out on May 20, 2022, and will be on the platforms of PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC. For those interested, the game can now be pre-ordered.
