Earthlock ExpandingÂ
It’s time to return to the setting of Earthlock on a whole new adventure. Independent Developer Snowcastle Games has announced that their new adventure set in the Earthlock universe, Ikonei Island, is in development. A press release about the game provides details about how it will add to Earthlock’s world. In addition the release gives info about the features of the game.Â
Ikonei Island brings the player to a foreign territory in a familiar world. Building upon the world-building, lore, and setting of Snowcastle’s RPG Earthlock, the game invites players to a deserted island. Here, players will use the games unique resource gathering and crafting systems to make due. Furthermore, as you explore the island you will be able to recruit different animals to help you conquer any challenge you face. Â
According to the release Ikonei Island draws inspiration from games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. However, the game is by its nature unique in the fact that it is building off of the existing world of Earthlock gives it a distinctive feeling. You will discover ancient ruins of a lost civilization, deal with pirates, and unlock new biomes. As you explore the island you will learn that it is full of other biomes from mountains, to jungles, to deserts.Â

Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is currently in development. However, you can wish list the game on Steam right now. The final game will be available on both PC and consoles. Furthermore, Snowcastle plans to lay out future updates and new features on a roadmap for the Early Access lifespan of the game.Â
